You Can Learn to Read
Prison libraries offer inmates the opportunity to not only read classic works of literature, they provide legal texts for inmates to peruse in hopes of finding that Cape Fear loophole. They can range from book-by-mail Netflix-type programs, to university-level courses. And, if real prison is anything like Shawshank, the books will be brought to you by an elderly, kind-hearted librarian who is ultimately doomed to hang himself.
