8. The Blizzard Was First Blitzed In St. Louis
In St. Louis a dude named Ted Drewes had a frozen custard shop known for its delicious blends containing a variety of ingredients. It was based on this idea that Dairy Queen invented The Blizzard. No word on whether Drewes has gone after them for royalties, or if Drewes is alive or dead, or if he referred to himself as T.D. We hope he didn’t.
