In Back to the Future Part II, Marty McFly arrived in the future on October 21, 2015 . When he stepped out of Doc Brown’s DeLorean his new world consisted of flying cars, Nike shoes that laced themselves, a vastly improved weather-predicting technology, hoverboards, and 3D hologram movie promos, and a future-Marty who was a really shitty guitar player.
Of course, some of the Back to the Future 2 predictions didn’t come true: the Chicago Cubs didn’t win the World Series, flying cars and hoverboards are a no-go, and 3D movies, for the most part, are a bust.
