A 55-foot statue of the Jolly Green Giant wearing a huge grin and a leaf toga has welcomed visitors of Blue Earth, Minnesota since 1978. What many people don’t know is that the smile has zero to do with the town of Blue Earth and everything to do with how amazing the wind feels as it blows under his mini toga.
