Seinfeld Episodes Take Place Weeks Apart From Each Other

In an attempt to explain how the lives of the the main characters work, someone conjured this up. Sounds like BS to us, but here goes: Jerry, Elaine, George, and Kramer are hanging out at Jerry’s apartment and it kind of seems like they are practically never at work. So, obviously, Seinfeld doesn’t take place week to week. After all, Jerry is a successful comedian who tours and travels to gigs around the country.

The idea is that the audiences watches what occurs between his travels and stand-ups, and that means weeks (or months) pass between episodes.
