#12. USE CORNSTARCH TO ADD A MATTE FINISH TO YOUR NAILS
After putting a bottom coat onto your nails grab a piece of tinfoil or wax paper and put a few drops of nail polish onto it. Using a toothpick, add a tiny amount of cornstarch to the foil or wax paper and mix together with the nail polish. Make sure you hustle when doing this or the polish will dry up. When you apply the mixture it’ll be thicker than you’re used to, but that’s fine. However, if it’s too thick it’ll spread unevenly.
