Riley Richmond is a first-grade teacher engaged to be married. After breaking off the engagement, she moonlights as a model in order to make rent. When Richmond shows courage by admitting a mistake, she loses her teaching job. Richmond is distrustful of other women and has trouble getting along with them on the show.
