If she’s the one who ended it, it’s time to talk feelings — then cut the conversation short. “Let her know you’re open to discussing reconciliation, but don’t want to hang out as friends unless she feels the same way about potentially getting back together,” says Thomas. Just keep in mind that reconciliation can be incredibly fraught.
