eDiets
The Gist: eDiets allows you to choose from a variety of diet plans, filtered based on your initial survey answers that will “work best for you.” But the site also offers its own eDiets meal delivery program, which is what we’re breaking down here. That plan averages the normal/healthy weight loss of one to two pounds per week.
Pros: The food is reportedly fresher than that of other delivery plans, and there’s a wealth of good nutritional information on the site if you’re the research type. Plus, some people find that it actually works with the expected average weight loss of (you guessed it) one to two pounds per week.
Cons: Said nutritional info is accessible by subscription only. You are very reliant upon your delivered meals. Former members have complained about “hidden” (in fine print) fees that make the advertised “affordable” cost not so. And there’s no trial period, so you’ll be charged a hefty fee for canceling early. (Is this thing run by a credit card company?)
