4. Pasta With Turkey and Broccoli
Okay, I’ll admit that this meal won’t be as tasty as some of the others. The good news is that you’ll have it on the table in no less than 20 minutes. Turkey is considerably healthier than sausages or pork. Wait until turkey is browned in one pan, and to save time, you may boil the pasta and the broccoli together. To spice things up, add chopped garlic and crushed red pepper. Of course, if you’re not eating alone, let everyone do their own seasoning.

5. Sausage-and-Chicken Cassoulet
The lovely French dish is made from white beans, sausages, and meat, which is covered and slowly cooked – you can cover it with a cornbread crust. The white beans, chicken, and sausages have simmered in a mildly spicy sauce, so this will be slurpingly tasty, trust me. Side salad of romaine lettuce, shredded carrots, and French dressing is a must with this recipe. A word of caution though. This may not be as fast as other dishes on the list, seeing as the cooking itself will take up to 55 minutes. On the plus side, actual preparation time is approximately half an hour.

6. Steak With Artichoke and Cherry Pepper Sauté
Quick cooking at its best. First thing’s first – sear the steak over the stovetop, while it rests you can get started on the side-dish, which is a sauté that can be made really fast by mixing bread chunks, halved artichoke hearts and red cherry peppers (note: red cherry peppers are usually found at the supermarkets and stores in jars, next to roasted red peppers and olives). These will make a fine addition to juicy medium-rare steak strips. Oh yeah, and you might want to pour yourself a lovely glass of red wine to go with this.
