Gordon Gekko’s famous “Greed is good.” quote failed to mention how greed is also a toxic motivator that can breed deceit. People who follow Gekko’s mantra won’t think twice to step on your neck while climbing to the top, and then try to make you pay for being a shitty rung on the ladder.

Lesson: Make up your own mind.
As the film shows, take your civic duty seriously and don’t be too quick to decide someone else’s fate. Outside of the courtroom, listen to both sides of a story, interpret the facts as you see them, and make decisions that you can live with.
