Our 11 All-Time Favorite Bunnies

#10. PETER COTTONTAIL

He’s full of himself, tells lies, oversleeps on Easter morning, and wears shirts with striped collars. So, aside from the shirts, he’s just like us. And he eventually becomes Chief Easter Bunny, which gives us hope that one day we might achieve our dream of being the Chief St. Patrick’s Day Drunk. Fun fact: Peter Cottontail was voiced by Casey Kasem in the 1971 made-for-TV special, Here Comes Peter Cottontail. Since the movie isn’t all that good, we dug up a classic clip of Casey cursing on the radio.

He looks so sweet and innocent in his blue coat and galoshes, but once you turn your back Pete will disrobe, sneak into your garden, and feast on your lettuce, French beans, and radishes — even when his mother warns him not to. He’s a rebel who doesn’t care what other people think about him, and he’s a killer who goes after what he wants and gets it.
