Luke Skywalker’s Comeback – Mark Hamill’s Writing
Now don’t get this the wrong way, actor Mark Hamill didn’t write the script and every Luke Skywalker scene, although he did admit: “In Episode 7, you discover Luke is a hermit on this island and there’s so much unsaid about where he’s been and what he’s done. Actors like to write their own backstories… I made it up myself and tried to show it to JJ Abrams, but he basically patted me on the head, gave me a cookie and made me go away.”
