Despite making a worldwide gross of $1,027,044,677, Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace was a disappointment even to those fools who camped out on sidewalks only to fall asleep during the first midnight showing. The lack of action, boring political discussions, and the use of the world’s most annoying character — Jar-Jar Binks — made the film almost intolerable.

What would have made it better? Binks getting his head lopped off by a Darth Maul. That didn’t happen, but the above death scene could have. And a movie of Jar-Jar Binks is a move that has a chance of being enjoyable.
