Mike Boyer waited in line 19 hours to be the first to purchase legal weed when Green Leaf marijuana shop opened in Spokane, Washington. Too bad, according to Gawker, Boyer lost his job after his appearance on this news report started making its rounds on this little thing called the interwebs.

We can totally understand Boyer’s former employer’s hesitation after seeing this video of Boyer relaxed, smiling, and waiting patiently with other future patrons. Still, the fact that he openly smokes weed and — gasp! — wore tie-dye T-shirts evidently affected his job … we guess.
UPDATE: Boyer has been rehired. We wonder if he celebrated the news with a bowl, bong, joint, or vape session?
