Oregon

Topic: What’ll become of the University of Oregon football program in 2014?
Your take: It’ll still be competitive.

• Though the Ducks lost coach Chip Kelly to the Philadelphia Eagles this year, they’ll still manage to consistently be ranked in or near the top 5.

• They just beat Cal 55-16 in a blinding rainstorm, which shows that the high-powered Oregon offense is weatherproof.

• Based on past seasons, it’s safe to assume that Oregon will score a billion points over unranked opponents before losing to a weak conference game (probably Washington). Since 2005, Oregon has won two bowl games, then lost two, then won two, etc. So, when they win the Pac 12 this season, expect them to choke.
